Welcome to the The Water Works and Sewer Board of the City of Prichard. Please stop by our office for new service or to disconnect an existing service. We look forward to serving your needs. Please bring with you the following documentation.
Account Origination (New Service):
Bring the following into the main office: Minimum age for service is 19 years old
Residential: Social Security Card and one of the following forms of I.D: Current Driver License or Non-Driver License Identification Card, OR Federal Issued Identification w/ photo (ex. Passport, military I. D.)
Renters: Current signed lease agreement from the Landlord must include: Name(s) & property address, move in/move out date, and contact phone number(s).
Home /Property Owners: Property Deed or Warranty Deed. (With the deed you must complete a se t meter form if address is not listed on deed.)
Businesses/Commercial Properties: Current lease agreement or Deed, Articles of Incorporation/Organization), Company Tax I. D., Current I.D.
***Any representative of the company besides a named member must have a letter of permission from company and their current I.D
Cost for Services
* (Fees below will be in addition to any old bills the customer owes)
Account Origination Fee (Non-Refundable):
Residential: $154 .50
Commercial: $257.50
Commercial/Residential owners of 10 or more properties in PWWSB service area-$51.50
*(must be able to provide proof for properties owned)
Reconnect Service:
Non-Pay: All balances must be paid in full including a service fee
$ 61.80 -Next Day Service Fee (The next business day after all balances have been cleared)
$ 82.40 -Same Day Service Fee (Priority)
Disconnect Service:
Account Holder: -Current I.D.
Representative: I. D for both the account holder and the representative also a letter of permission. (*If account holder is deceased -Current I.D. for person disconnecting the service and a copy of the death certificate or obituary of the deceased)
